  1. Dear Richard, I had pleasure in listening to the broadcast on A.B.C. Radio Classic F.M. recently and I really wanted to let you know of my experience. I always sang my babies to sleep, no great voice of course but a love of song. Rosalind was amazing – by the time she was 15 mths old she had a repetoire of well over 60 tunes. I would sit in the bus with her and people would stare at me, thinking I was singing, so I would explain \No it’s the child singing! At our church we formed a children’s choir – Wentworth Memorial Church, Vaucluse. A great aptitude for music and a developing voice led her to have parts in G.& Ss a particularly fun was the Duchess of Plaza Toro. Later at Sydney Uni she sang various parts. Now living in Israel she is music director of ChristChurch inside the Old City of Jerusalem. She has composed many worship songs and produced 5 C.D.s. Yes music for children as early as possible!! Her sister Evanne studied Flute at the Sydney Con and her Brother Andrew plays Guitar and has a delightful voice as well. My husband had a fine tenor as well as my father. I can remember our favourite programme years ago was \World Famous Tenors\ on A.B.C. Radio.
You can visit Ros on her website Rosalind Hershkovitz.
I used to always have the radio on classical music and still do on A.B.C. Classic F.M. which I leave going when I a out for the Cat!!! Amber Mailer. Mount Tamborine.
