What does that marking mean on the percussion parts? How can I get THAT sound out of a cymbal? How do I know what sound I am looking for? What strategies can I use to keep my percussion section involved in the rehearsal whilst I work on intonation? How can I involve the percussion section in the warm-up exercises?
