Who pays for the music teachers’ time, expertise, and energy? How does the El Sistema model benefit music teachers or the profession itself in any way shape or form? Are they manned by volunteer teachers?? interns? or student/teachers?
Dear Eugene, there should be a contact email on Sistema Australia’s website to whom you might address your queries.
My task is to search out current weblinks, free lesson plans, teaching ideas, research and current approaches to Music education (with an Australian focus) and list all relevant websites on the musiceducation.edu.au searchable database.
Please let me know if there is a particular area of interest or need (re. Music Ed resources) and I will gladly go hunting
