- Music. Count Us In (MCUI)

Go to resource: Music. Count Us In is a music advocacy event that draws attention to the value of music education in schools. Occuring once a year, schools nationwide are invited to sing the MCUI song at the same time. The event has been run since 2007, with around half a million students participating in all types of schools across the country. The MCUI site gives links to the songs performed each year, teaching kits, advocacy kits, and more information about the program. MCUI is linked to Music. Play For Life, a Music Council of Australia campaign for music education in schools.
